We cater for individuals who are aged 18- 65 years of age with
- Severe and enduring mental health or emotional distress including those who have been in contact with Specialists Psychiatric Services.
- A history of several hospital admissions (revolving door syndrome)
- Section 17 leave of the Mental Health Act 1983
- Section 25 (supervised discharge) Mental Health Act 1983
- Section 117 of (aftercare package) the Mental Health Act 1983
- Exclusions: arsonists, sex offenders and the doubly incontinent.
We cater individuals who have a primary Mental Health diagnosis, however, they we also accept individuals who may also have a dual or multi diagnosis (such as learning disability or personality disorder).
We will accept people needing respite Care providing they meet the above criteria. Upon arrival they will undertake an initial assessment. If we are satisfied that the placement is appropriate we will cater for them until alternative accommodation is found. However, if they are not suitable for the Home alternative arrangements will have to be made for them without due delay. |
